12:30 PM: A Valdosta, Georgia high school football player was found dead inside a rolled-up wrestling mat at the school's gymnasium, and the player's father believes his son was murdered.
12:15 PM: A fourth person has been charged in the August attack on Wisconsin RB Montee Ball. An arrest warrant has been issued for Karlis D. Griffin, who unlike the other three suspects is not a UW-Madison student.
12:00 PM: The Denver Broncos have promoted QB coach Adam Gase to offensive coordinator. Gase replaces Mike McCoy, who left to become head coach of the San Diego Chargers.
11:45 AM: Atlanta Braves CEO Terry McGuirk doesn't like the team's 20-year local TV deal: "It was a deal that we didn't like when we saw it, when we inherited it. And we knew that in the performance of time, it would probably not be the deal that we would like to have in the marketplace to exploit."
