ORLANDO, Fla. -- Keith Clanton had 26 points and 10 rebounds, and Central Florida held off Belmont for a 66-63 victory on Saturday night in the UCF Holiday Tournament.
Isaiah Sykes chipped in 16 points and seven rebounds, and Kasey Wilson contributed 10 points and eight rebounds for Central Florida (9-3).
Ian Clark scored 21 points for Belmont (9-4), and Kerron Johnson added 18 points and eight rebounds. Trevor Noack had 12 points and six rebounds.
The Knights led 33-21 at the half and 56-45 on Keith Clanton's layup with 4:42 to go, but the Bruins chipped away. They pulled to 63-61 on Noack's 3-pointer with 35 seconds left, but Calvin Newell, Clanton and Sykes each made 1 of 2 free throws to preserve the win.
Central Florida defeated Howard University 62-45 on Friday, and Belmont beat Boston University 64-48.
