DENVER (CBS4) ? New and more extensive breast cancer screenings will soon be available at Planned Parenthood clinics in Colorado and across the country.
The organization says it?s using $3 million in donations it received after breast cancer charity Susan G. Komen decided to cut off grant money.
Clinics will add ultrasounds, biopsies, and other follow-up services to its basic screenings. It?s also going to add more educational programs.
Earlier this year the Komen Foundation said it would cut off nearly all of its $700,000 in grant money. The breast cancer charity later reversed that decision.
