KAUFMAN, Texas (AP) ? Documents in the slayings of a Texas district attorney and his wife indicate that the couple had been shot multiple times when they were found dead in their home.
A search warrant affidavit says deputies were called to the home Saturday by relatives and friends who'd been unable to reach Kaufman County District Attorney Mike McLelland and his wife, Cynthia.
Authorities found cartridge casings near their bodies.
Investigators have not discussed a motive. The slayings came two months after Kaufman County Assistant District Attorney Mark Hasse was killed in a parking lot near the courthouse.
No arrests have been made in Hasse's Jan. 31 killing.
