DIY Fireplace Makeover with Stone Veneer

DIY Fireplace Makeover with Stone VeneerYour fireplace is one of the biggest focal points of the room. This DIY fireplace surround project will make it stand out even more, by covering the entire wall with similar stone.

The project is pretty simple and, for the results, not that expensive. (You can buy manufactured stacked stone panels measuring 4' by 2' for under $100 each.) To get this look, you simply spread mortar on the back of the stone facing and press it into a sturdy base attached to the wall.
